"We're Undefeated!!"
Last night we went to the UNLV vs. USU football game. It was the first game of the season for both teams. Both schools are not known for their football teams. Pretty much this game was to see which team wasn't the worst in the league! We still had a good time though. We went with Emily, Mandy, and Josh (not my husband, but another Josh). UNLV did end up winning the game. My favorite comment after the game was some drunk guy yelling "We're undefeated!!" That is probably the only time that he will be able to say that during this football season.
Josh decided to wear his Aggie attire and I sported my Rebel attire.
Can anyone tell me what this is? It was seen at the game...Any guesses?

THe MOVE is FINALLY over!!
We are finally all out of our old place and into our new place. The lease for the other place doesn't end until the 9th of September, but we have changed all of our accounts, turned off the power and gas there and cleared all of our stuff out!! We moved started moving our stuff two weeks ago, before school started and finished the Saturday before Josh started school. We were staying in our new place without gas (which meant NO hot water AKA cold showers!) and we had a little hang-up with the internet being switched over, but finally all of that is behind us now. We are now living in North Las Vegas really close to my work. I bike to work and Josh drives to school. We have so much more room now. We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms!! Our living room is a lot bigger also. We are pretty excited to have all this space!! Everyone is invited to come down to Vegas and see the new place.

Happy One Year!!

Andrew and Elise hit their one year mark this month and we are so happy for them! To celebrate they made their way out to the city of sin to come hang out with another year old married couple (that would be us). We enjoyed their company as we hung out on the strip and went to the show Mystere. Thanks for coming guys and we hope you have many more happy years together!
When Andrew and Elise got married the sealer told them that they obviously did something to win each other over and then he gave them the wise advise to continue to do that. I am happy to report that they are still doing that. They are the cutest couple who treat each other with respect, love one another and continue to serve each other. Thank you guys for a great example and we love ya!

The Shoe Tree
If anybody ever decides to drive on highway 95 from Las Vegas to Fallon you will drive past a cool tree with a bunch of shoes hanging on it. We don't know how this tradition started, but it is kind of cool! We wanted to add to the shoe collection, but we didn't have any to give.
If I was a homeless man who didn't have any shoes I would definitely go to that shoe tree, climb up it and grab me a pair. Five finger discount!!

Home Sweet Home
After six weeks of being away I am finally home!! It sure feels good to be back. I am able to sleep in my own bed, with my beautiful wife, eat out of my own fridge, watch my own T.V., and feel the warm Las Vegas wind blow in my face. I had a great experience in Fallon, NV. It was a lot of fun working with Steve and his clinic. I learned a lot. While I was in Fallon I got to work in a skilled nursing center, some assisted living centers, do home health, go to the school district and work with kids, and work in an out patient setting. I got a little taste of everything! But, you know me, all work and no play makes Josh unhappy. Steve hooked me up with a gym I could go to, I coached the Fallon soccer team twice a week, I played on Steve's softball team a couple of times, I went to a 44 hour softball tournament in Winnemucca NV, I went to a basque restaurant, watched a few movies, and hung out with Steve's family.
Before I left Jaimie came up for my last weekend and we went to Reno to go and see the temple there. It is a really small temple. We had to make a reservation!! I have never had to do that before. It was a very cool experience though. We got to be the witness couple. There was also a couple that was getting married and the bride was going through for her first time. I talked to the groom a little bit. They are both going to Utah State! She is from Nevada and wanted to get her endowments out in Reno and then they are getting married in Salt Lake. He seemed really nervous. He asked me how long I had been married and what I thought about marriage. I told him, "you will really like it!" I think that calmed him a little bit....NOT!
Here are some pictures of the temple.
