2 Ne. 2: 11 "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things..." This has never been truer! Let me explain:
This past weekend was good, bad and ugly all at the same time.
The Good:
After two weeks of separation I got to see my very amazing husband! I really think that up in Heaven I won the husband lottery!! I must have gotten lucky and won because that is the only way I can see myself ending up with him. It's true he is like a snickers bar and satisfies every time. ;)

Josh and I met up with a couple of other people from his grad program and drove out to Lake Tahoe. Out of Josh's whole graduating class Mike probably lucked out the most. He is doing his clinical rotation in Lake Tahoe and gets to stay in a cabin for free!! So we all decided it would be cool by us to crash his party. We spent our days being completely lazy, going to the beach, swimming in ice cold water, eating yummy turkey burgers, hiking (my personal favorite), walking through the town (I was elated when I saw a Hard Rock Cafe!), and of course watching the most exciting fireworks show I have ever seen. In the fireworks show they had stars, smiley faces and hearts! How cool?!

The Bad:
On Friday as Josh and I were leaving the cabin, Josh started backing down the hill and ran into a little wooden post- making only a slight scratch on the driver's side tire. We joked about it as we drove into town and I told him he had to take care of my car because I loved it. Later on as we got into the town we turned into a parking garage and were waiting in a line of cars for a parking spot when all of a sudden I hear Josh yelling, " HEY! HEY!" and then BANG! A car smashed right into us. BAD NEWS for my SUBI. Needless to say my car is not as pretty as it used to be. Good news for Josh is that the little scratch will now be getting fixed.

The Ugly:
After an awesome 4th of July weekend on Sunday I had to make a long 6 hour drive back home to sweltering hot Las Vegas and leave my husband all over again.
