Surgery
4) Did I mention he talked a lot? Even in his sleep. Late one night/morning he woke me up by putting on a theatrical version of 'Silence of the Lambs'. Lucky for me he was Hannibal Lecter and I was Clarice! Did I mention he was asleep? The next day I told him no more pain medication. Saturday, January 2, 2010
Another Move
That quote is from a book that has quickly become one of my favorites. It is called, These is my Words. It is the diary of Sarah Agnes Prine and her family as she travels through the Arizona Territories. My heart quickly went out to her as she described the unknown, loss of family and the heat. I understood her when she talked about how she had to became tough and how she wasn't much of a lady but deep down longed to act like one.
My husband and I have left Arizona and I miss it. Arizona for me was a time of refinement and of true discovery. It was six months of sweat (literally), tears, and the greatest amount of joy I have yet to feel.
Although, it was hard for me to move, I do secretly enjoy moving. My husband and I have moved 4 times in our short 2.5 yrs of marriage. I know we are pretty much insane!! When I move it is MY special time to reflect. I look back and realize just how blessed my husband and I really were and are. I can see more clearly how much God watched over us and protected us. My testimony, as odd as it may sound, grows tremendously with each move. As I say goodbye to all my new best friends I understand just how much God loves me and I thank him so much for putting those people in my life. God really does know us and loves us. I KNOW that because of the people he has put in my life that have either blessed my life or literally made my life a living nightmare (on a side note those people who have not made my life very easy have also blessed my life and I love them for that ). God LIVES.
Saying Goodbye to our apartment. It was probably my favorite apartment out of the three we have lived in.

Oops He Did it Again!
A week before Thanksgiving Josh was playing indoor soccer. There was only seconds left in the game and Josh ran over to get the ball. A player from the other team fouled him from behind and he went down. He yelled really loud! I was so scared because I have never heard him yell like that. He said that he had heard a "pop" in his knee and limped off the field. The next day at work he had a colleague look at his knee. His colleague said that he thought Josh's LCL may have been torn or badly sprained, but thought his ACL was intact. He told him to rest for a couple of weeks and if it was still bothering him to go into the doctor and get an MRI. Well, it kept bothering Josh. He went and got an MRI and found that he tore his ACL!! Here comes another surgery! Now Josh will have had both of his knees operated on!!Sunday, November 22, 2009
Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!
Yesterday me and Josh went to the Phoenix Zoo! We both have not been to a zoo in a long time so we decided to go. We realized something while we were there. Zoos are really good for kids and first dates. We don't have kids and were not on our first date, but it was still fun!! Our favorite exhibits were the orangutans, komodo dragons, and the petting zoo.
Josh said I looked like Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas! I don't know if that is a compliment or not?!

Free Shows!
Black Eyed Peas opened for U2. They were also really good
Here is a video clip of U2.
The next free event that we went to was the Arizona State Fair. We of course had to get a funnel cake and some over priced drinks. We also saw the hypnotist and the main event of the night was the Roller Derby Dames! It was the live version of the movie Whip It! Those girls are pretty crazy. They are holding try-outs pretty soon if any of you are interested!
