Red Necks R Us

Last night Josh and I drove a normally 45 minute trip to Logandale, NV to go to the county fair. Everyone who was anyone went to the fair last night. It was a big deal!! Just to get into the city it took us 2 hours!! It was so much fun. We got to eat corn on the cob, funnel cake and drink real lemonade. That sounds really healthy....doesn't it? We also got to see "Swifty Swine Pig Racing," a hypnotist, a comedian/magician, mutton bustin', and break dancers. The break dance
rs seemed a little out of place, but they were kind of cool. Josh thinks he can pull some of those moves... if you have ever seen him play guitar hereo or dance you might be laughing right now.

They had an auction and we got to see the cows, chicken, sheep, rabbits, pigs, etc. We learned that ham comes from the butt of the pig, cosmetics are made from their fat, and that they are the seventh smartest animal in the world. They are actually really clean also. They never release bodily fluids/waste near their area of living. Josh decided that when we buy a house we are going to have a steer in our backyard. He is going to learn how to raise it and then he is going to kill it and give our family meat for Christmas. Except for mine, because nobody eats it. We are also going to raise our kids to be red necks. Our sons are going to participate in mutton bustin and our beautiful daughters are going to be county princesses.

Josh thinks he would already fit in because he can eat like them, wear tight jeans and walk in cowboy boots.

Speaking of the satellite dish, I mean belt buckle, Josh I saw the one you won from roping while riding this barrel of hay. Jaimie wore it the other day...it sure was nice! We got the best internet service at work because it increased the frequency waves back and forth! hahaha
