On Saturday we went to the Jordan River temple because Josh's cousin Luke took his endowments out. He is leaving on his mission to Brazil in a month! After the session, we went to Famous Dave's for lunch. We had some really good grub this weekend!! On Saturday night we went to the Real Salt Lake soccer game with some friends and family. It was a really fun game. Real won one to zero. We all felt like minorities at the stadium. Real was playing against a team from Mexico. It was a pretty intense game. The night ended with Pace's ice cream and an amazing fireworks show at Farmington!

Jam Packed Weekend
This last weekend we had a jammed pack weekend! On Friday morning we flew up to Utah. One of the perks of having a family member work at the airport is employee discount tickets. Friday was full of helping Brett and Stephanie pack up some of their things for their move, trying a Hawaii icee, going to Robintino's for dinner, and roasting marshmallows, starbursts, and cinnamon bears in the fire.

We rode the tracks to the game. It was Stephanie's first time riding the tracks.
The weekend ended with us driving home. Josh's car was up in Utah getting the bumper fixed. We had the PRIVILEGE of driving it home. The big problem with Josh's car is that it doesn't have air conditioning. It got really hot it that car!! The drive was really pretty though. We drove by Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, through Flagstaff and Page.

WE LOVE VISITORS!
We are always telling people to come visit us. There are a ton of benefits to visiting us, including, but not limited to: we are a ton of fun, we usually do really fun things, and visitors have a place to stay (for free) with the most comfortable air mattress to sleep on. Well, my little brother finally took me up on this offer last Tuesday. I was excited to have him come stay the night before he went on the trail for Anasazi. I picked him up from the airport and after we caught up he informed me that he wanted to go hang out with some of the people who were going on the trail with him in the morning. I handed him a spare key to the apartment and went to bed.
At 1:30 in the morning I woke up because my globe light was on. It is one of those lights that you have to touch and the light will come on. As of lately it has decided to become possessed and turn on whenever it wants to. I got up to turn it off and realized my little brother was not back yet. I looked at my phone and had missed two texts and three phone calls from him! Come to find out I had locked him out!! My apartment has a bottom lock and then a dead bolt, which even if you have a key, you cannot unlock!!!
We hope that this story does not thwart others from visiting. We have learned our lesson. Don't lock your guests out!! We had to learn this lesson the hard way, but we learned it.

Red Wall
Since living in Las Vegas and now Arizona I have fallen in love with the red and orange colors. Brown is still my favorite color but I now love the deseret colors of red and orange. When I signed the lease to this apartment I was told that we could get the walls painted with no charge and when we left, if we left the paint on the walls there would also be no charge. I was excited to hear that. So I decided to be a little daring and bold and do something out of the ordinary.

We are now almost all settled in our new apartment. And anyone is welcomed to come visit!!

The List...
When I was on my mission in North Carolina I had remembered my sister telling me that when she got to an area she would write a list of reasons why she loved that area. Doing that helped her to love the area. So I started doing that in each of my areas along with putting up pictures of us.
About a year into my marraige and a year into Las Vegas I remembered how much I loved doing that. So I went to the store and with my fancy, crafty art skills I went to town. I loved that sign. It gave me reasons to laugh, smile and remember who had visited. I threw it away last night so I had to take a picture of it. Here are a few of the things on the list:
- Partys at the pool with the Mexicans (Mikayal)
- UNLV (of course Josh)
- Dirt Biking in a cage, 5 bikes at a time and Cafe Rio (Shaun B. )
- To see my sister Jaimie and to marvel at Josh's head (Seth)
-Sarah Palin (Seth) - The heat, no scraping windows with snow in the winter (Josh) But in reply someone wrote: Only cracked and shattered windows and heat stroke all day long!!! (ha ha)
- Hiking Red Rock, our 5 minute rain storms, a fluffy snow fall that made all of Las Vegas shut down for a day. (Jay)

My NECK!!
On Thursday I was really excited. Jaimie was coming home from her trip from Lake Powell, I only had one more final and one more presentation left of summer school. I was driving home from school just like any other day. The traffic was coming to a stop at Stewart and Lamb so I slowed down and stopped. I was looking through my rear-view mirror when I saw the car behind me slam on their brakes. I heard a screetch and BANG!!
The Isuzu Rodeo that was behind me got hit by the car behind them, a Grand Am, forcing their car into mine!! It was a 3 car accident!! The Isuzu had a hitch on the back and the hitch went right through the front of the Grand Am's hood. It cracked his radiator and did some pretty good damage to his car. My bumper was the only thing that got damaged on my car. I was pretty excited because the paint was coming off and now I can get it fixed.....for FREE!!
The officer that came to the scene asked who was driving and if everybody was ok. Me, being the sarcastic man that I am said that I was fine, except for the pain in my neck. I was just joking, but I don't think the officer thought it was funny!! The guy driving the Isuzu asked what I did and I told him I was going to school for PT. He told me jokingly that I could do therapy on my own neck to treat my whip lash. I just laughed!! It was an exciting experience. I told Jay I was going to sue the guy for all of the psychological, physical and emotional damage that he caused me. She told me to "be a man and suck it up!"

Every New Beginning has an Ending
Las Vegas was a new beginning for Josh and I. A new university, new job, being married, new apartments, and now it is coming to an end. We are getting all of the loose ends tied up and getting ready to start another new beginning in Arizona.
I had my last day of work at Aztech Material Testing on June 5th, 2009. It has been a good job for me and I have learned a lot about myself, how to work with "different people" and dirt!! I enjoyed working with the many people there and I will definitely miss them. I am still dreaming about work, but they are no longer nightmares, so I am happy!! :)
This is a picture of Claire and I. She was one of the engineers that worked there.

Josh is finally done with summer school!! He had his last final on Friday. His class had class and individual pictures so he dressed up all SNAZZY! Doesn't he look good? Now all he has left are his 3 clinicals and his research project. He is almost done with school!! Yeah!! It will surely be a new beginning when he starts working and making real money.
Right after my last day of work I took a little trip to Lake Powell with my sister and her husband's family. It was a blast!! We stayed on a really nice house boat, went jet skiing, kayaking, relaxed, enjoyed the sun and ate really good food. Teagan was hilarious with her life-jacket in which she tried to wear as a diaper. It was fun to spend time with my two cute nieces.
